Swanbourne Endeavour is here at last – so jump on board!
Plunge into the wilds of Buckinghamshire
– streams, woods, fields, haystacks - for a cross-country
endurance race that, while ticking all the safety boxes, will push you
to the limit and beyond. Not only that, your efforts will drum up funds
for several outstanding charities.
Brace yourselves for a challenge that will put fire in your belly, a smile on your face – and cover you in mud. A challenge that promises pain, sweat, tears and, we must stress again, mud. Not just any mud either, but some of the finest slippery, sticky, foot-sucking clay in all England.
Well done to all who took part in the 5km Night Raid Stowaway! It was character building stuff with each team electing to CARRY...YES CARRY a team member through all the regular ponds, pools, pits, barb wire, fire and the Trafalgar Zone. You will be pleased to hear that the entire ships company made it round and toasted their victory with some of Swanbourne Estate's finest Slow Gin at the end of the Trafalgar Zone. Also a big thanks to the heroes of the night - our ever steadfast marshals ever willing to assist or beast whichever was more motivational and to ensure that safety was maintained. Special mention to all in race HQ who provided endless hot beverages and limitless smiles!
All monies raised from entry fees and donations went straight in the charity pot which means we have topped up the 2012 charity pot....next event is the main event in October.
