The RBL provides welfare to the whole Armed Services family, including ex-Servicemen and women, those currently serving, and their dependents. It also campaigns on a range of issues effecting Service people and runs the annual Poppy Appeal. The Swanbourne Endeavour will specifically help the local Winslow branch of the RBL.

Fundacion Comunitaria de la Frontera Norte, a non-profit organisation based in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, currently the city with the highest homicide rate in the world.

Since early 2007, over 35,000 people in Mexico have been killed due to drug related violence, and Ciudad Juarez, on the Tex-Mex border, is at the nerve centre of this vicious drugs war. The Fundacion Comunitaria runs projects to keep Juarez’s youth – many of them disadvantaged – out of the drug gangs by providing education, employment and cultural opportunities. In a city plagued by negative statistics the charity’s inspirational work is providing hope for the next generation.
